Cresta is one of Randburg's most established neighbourhoods. Wide streets, solid freestanding family homes, mature gardens full of old plane trees and oaks, and the well-known Cresta Shopping Centre anchoring the suburb at its heart. That era of construction means solid brickwork and generous plots, but it also means plumbing systems that are now fifty to sixty years old.
