The two types of fridge filter install
Fridge filter work splits into two jobs. The internal cartridge swap is the common one. The external inline install is the one homeowners underestimate.
Internal cartridge swap
The fridge has a built-in filter housing, usually in the top right interior or inside the base kickplate. The cartridge twists in or pushes in, lasts about six months, and the indicator on the door counts down the life.

External inline install

What the visit actually looks like
A typical fridge filter install is a single 30-minute visit with the part already in the van. The technician arrives with the confirmed cartridge (genuine OEM or certified compatible, based on your choice at quote stage), carries out the swap, flushes the new filter, resets the indicator and leaves.
- Before arrival: we confirm the model number by WhatsApp or email to avoid arriving with the wrong part.
- On site: shut off the fridge supply, swap the cartridge, flush for three minutes, reset the indicator, test for drips at the connection.
- Payment and receipt: straight quote, paid on completion, invoice with cartridge batch number and install date for your records.
